Each river has its end. Some flow into another river, some into the sea, and they rarely disappear in the land; in Croatia these are underground streams like Gacka and Lika. Sometimes they seem to disappear because they return either as the same river (e.g. Dobra plunges in Ogulin, and springs up again near Gojak) or as a different river (e.g. Jesenica plunges in the foothills of Mala Kapela and springs up again as Slunjčica near Slunj).
